Esther May Crouch of Colchester and formally of Groton, passed away on January 28,2026. Esther was born on February 19th 1960, in Long Island NY. She was the adopted daughter of the late John and Alice Crouch. Esther a devoted aunt to her nieces, nephews and extended family. She was an avid football fan and loved watching the games with her great nephews and was looking forward to watching the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Esther moved to Colchester several months ago to live with her niece Pamela. She loved there daily coffee runs and enjoyed all the moments she had with her great nieces and nephews. She gave selflessly to her family and the people le she loved. She left a lasting impression on everyone. Esther will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by all who knew her, especially her family. Her nieces, Pamela Moone whom she made home, Bethany Moone of Norwich. Her nephew John Moone and his wife Danica Moone of Montville. Her sister Sharon Rossi and brother Sean Hyland. Her great nieces Annastaysia Cruz, Brianna Cruz and her boyfriend Jaidyn Montes (aka Jordan), Trinidey Moone, Aaliyah Moone, Kaeloni Moone, Jonay Moone, Trystianna Moone, Jalycia Moone and Janyah Moone. Her great nephews Daniel Gately Jr, Charles Gately, Isaiah Moone and JR Moone. Also her great great nephew Adrian Montes, who she couldn't wait to me him and hold him. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her twin sister, Beth Ann Moone. A celebration of life will be held at Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford rd Colchester. Date and time will be announced.
