Esther Marie Kish passed away in the presence of her loving, supportive husband on October 15th, 2025, at the age of 81, in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. She took pride in being a mother, wife, grandmother and homemaker.
Esther was born in Gary, Indiana on January 30, 1944, to Steve Satmary and Verna Sulovka (Satmary). She was the youngest of 3 sisters. At 19 years old, she married Edward Kish on September 7th, 1963, in Gary, Indiana. They were together for 62 years.
Esther and Edward were passionate about traveling and were life long adventure seekers. Their love for exploration led to them living in a variety of locations including, San Diego, CA, Carlsbad, CA, West Palm Beach, FL, Hobart, IN, Gassville, AR, Hemet, CA and Port St. Lucie, FL.
Esther loved painting, horses, dogs, boating, traveling in an RV and everything that life had to offer.
Esther is survived by her husband (Edward); 3 daughters; Michele Gelgand, Lisa (Douglas) Hall, and Krista (Michael) Kirk; 5 grandchildren- Kaely Ferrrara (Hall), Bryce Kirk, Trenton Hall, Nicholle Zizzo (Gelgand), and Kennedy Kirk, 3 great-grandchildren – Grace Victoria Kirk, Lupo Daz Zizzo, and Maison Rose Ferrara; and her sister, Arlene Momola (Klimczak). Preceded in death by her mother, father, and a sister – Corrine L. Ochall (Klimczak).
