Obituary for Esther Anita Krivanek, Age 94.

September 6, 1930 – June 2, 2025

Esther Anita Krivanek (Anita), 94, died June 2, 2025, at the Corning Center for Rehabilitation, Corning, NY.

She was born September 6, 1930, in Wellsboro, PA to Mary Hanna Mulford and Clearence J. Marmor and lived in the Southern Tier Region for the majority of her life. Anita was a retiree of the Corning Glass Works (Corning Inc.) where she was a long-term employee and a retiree of the Corning Glass Works. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and Daughters of the American Confederation. Additionally she was a lifetime supporter of local and national non-profit organizations. Anita was a devoted Southern Baptist and longtime follower of Dr. David Jeremiah of Turning Point Ministry.

Predeceased by her are her first husband William H. Jelliff, Sr, and their three sons, William Jr, Paul and James and her second husband, Charles Krivanek.

Surviving are her daughters, Eleanor Hollands of Jackson, NJ, daughter MaryAnne Boorse, Elmira NY, and Betsy Fairbanks, Lawrenceville, PA Also sons John Jelliff, Aston, PA, and Gary Jelliff, Caton, NY. She is also survived by several family members near and far.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, Donor Care Center, PO Box 758541, Topeka, Kansas 66675.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Acly-Stover Funeral Home in Corning, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. followed by her final resting at Hope Cemetery, Corning, NY.
