Esther Molfetta

Esther Molfetta, passed away on May 15th, 2023, at the age of 85. Esther was born on June 8th, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York to her parents, Guiseppe and Maria. She obtained her high school diploma and went on to work as an administrative assistant in electronics. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic served her well throughout her career.
Esther is survived by her husband Nick Molfetta, her daughters Rose Molfetta and Maria (the Late Anthony Mariniello) Molfetta, and her adored pet Daisy. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends. They find comfort knowing that Esther is now at peace.
Esther was known for being a loving and kind person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her smile and warm personality were infectious and she had the ability to brighten up any room she walked into. Esther had a passion for animals, particularly for her loving pet, Daisy. Hanging out with Daisy was one of Esther's favorite things to do.
A visitation will be held on May 19th at Deer Park- Mangano Family Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Rosary Service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in West Islip at 11:30 AM. A funeral mass will follow at the same location starting immediately after. A burial will follow at Saint Charles Cemetery.
Esther lived a full life surrounded by love and kindness towards those she encountered. We honor her memory today with love and appreciation for all that she gave during her time with us.
