Esther Saucedo, 99, June 14, 2024, resident of Chicago's southside. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Saucedo; loving mother of the late Oliverio Saucedo, Conrado (Rosa) Saucedo, Elvia Saucedo, Maria (Carlos) Gonzalez, Elia (late Ramon) Saucedo, Raquel (Raul) Rodriguez, Angelica (Angel) Guerrero, and Jose (Annie) Saucedo; cherished grandmother of Lucia, Javier, Rosemarie, Nancy, Aurora, Erica, Eduardo, Annette, the late Sgt. Jorge Omar, Carlos, Erandi, Reyna, Daniel, Adan, Fernando, Sheyenne, Allison, Raquel, MGySgt Thomas, Miguel, Ariana, Alfredo, and Yvette; great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, dear sister of Manuel and Carmen, and aunt and friend to many.
Esther was a devout Catholic and faithful servant of St. Pius Catholic Church for over 50 years. She spent countless hours volunteering, cooking for the homeless, and serving the Lord attending many religious retreats. She enjoyed sewing and tending to her garden. Most of all, Esther cherished her time spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother who will always be remembered and never forgotten.
Visitation at Central Chapel, 6158 S. Central Avenue, Chicago, IL 60638 on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 3-8 pm. Funeral Thursday, June 20, 2024 8:45 a.m at Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, St. Richard Church, 5032 S. Kostner in Chicago 10 a.m. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery, Stickney, IL.
