Esther Ann Young

Born: January 12, 1932, in Oldenburg, IN

Passed Away: At the age of 93

Esther Ann Young was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tracy. She is survived by her children: Craig, Mark, Chris, Andrea, Gary, and 11 cherished grandchildren.

Esther's life journey took her from her birthplace in Indiana to Ohio, Texas, and finally Arizona, where she spent her remaining years. A devout Catholic, she was an active member of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Catholic Parish in Phoenix, AZ.

Her final wish was to be brought back to her hometown of Oldenburg, IN. Esther will be fondly remembered for her love of reading, word games, and her exquisite handwriting, which was often likened to calligraphy. Those who knew her best will remember her as a person who made a significant impact on their lives, cared deeply for others, and gave generously of herself.

Esther's devotion to her family was unwavering, and she brought beauty and joy to everyone she encountered. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am all at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg. Burial will be held at Holy Family Cemetery.
