Estie W. Shaw

Estie W. Shaw, born on January 25, 1967, departed this world June 25, 2024, at 2:47 p.m. with her family by her side.
Estie joined in heaven her mother, Lona Humphreys; daughter, Pebble Ann; son, KC Ransbottom; husband, Rodney Shaw, and her favorite boy, Scooby-Doo.
Surviving is her daughter, Angel and Jeremy Meeks, and her grandchildren, Joshua Ransbottom (Hanna), Destiny Schaible, Hayden Smith (James), Jeremy Meeks Jr., Brandon Turpin, Jeriah Meeks, Addie Turpin, Kayley Cobb, and Damian Meeks; her best friend, Bill Bradbury, and bonus daughter, Joyce Zweiner; bonus children, Nick, Barbara, Marshall and Ali; sisters, Patty, Mary and Debbie, and her many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give thanks to Pastor Jason Newsome, Todd and Sam Griffith, Jami Smith, Tammy Fisher, Grant Ransbottom, and Flora Meeks. Her family would also like to thank everyone who called and supported them through this devastating time.
Estie was a deeply loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, and friend. She had the most pure form of love for others, no matter the situation. Estie would always be the best listener to talk to, the best hug when you were down, and had the most inspiring words when you needed them most. She loved Scooby-Doo, her coffee, her TikTok's, but most all she loved being around her family.
Her family would love to thank the WVU team for the support they offered us.
The family will be hosting a memorial service to celebrate the life of Estie at a later date.
