Ethan Danny And Bella Smythe

It is with grief and great sorrow that we announce Ethan Wyatt (16), Daniel "Danny" Robert (13) and Izabella "Bella" Nichole (12) Smythe, the joy of their parents' lives, passed away in their home on November 13, 2023.
All three precious babies were born to Carissa and Daniel Smythe Jr. in Springfield, MO.
Ethan, born June 30, 2007, a Junior at Marshfield High School, enjoyed playing Fortnight and Spiderman, had recently shown excitement in opportunities following high school and was also learning how to play the guitar and the drums on his uncle Brandon's drum set at home. Ethan showed us how to care for others fiercely, the ultimate protector of his younger siblings. Recent bonds created between Carissa and him will forever be a highlight in her memory.
Danny Smythe III, born April 28, 2010, an 8th grader at Marshfield Junior High School, was a quiet spirit who helped us appreciate the greatness of our imagination. He was an expert on Dragon Ball Z, enjoyed watching his brother play Spiderman, eating gummy worms and learning about astronomy in hopes of one day becoming a scientist. Carissa will always miss Danny's random hugs and cuddles.
Bella, the most ornery of the three, born April 22, 2011, a 7th grader at Marshfield Junior High School, loved playing soccer and basketball, muscle cars, and eating her dad's Resse's Peanut Butter Cups. She taught each of us what it means to play and be young regardless of our age. She loved music playing both the trombone and piano and was learning to play the drums on her uncle Brandon's drum set at home with her brother Ethan.
Ethan, Danny, and Bella are survived by their parents, Carissa and Daniel Smythe Jr., grandparents Sandra (and Garry) Robinson, Carlton (and Amanda) Cole, Karen Purdy, Daniel (and Debbie) Smythe Sr., great-grandparents Beverly (and George) Stewart, Donna Washam, Bud Smythe, aunts and uncles Adam (and Stacey) Cole, Megan (and Dillion) Petty, Michael Smythe, and Alyssa Landis, as well as a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
They are preceded in death by great-grandparents Finnis Cole, Leroy Washam, Nelda Delaine Haff, James Henry Purdy, Delores Smythe, and uncle Brandon Cole.
A celebration of Ethan, Danny and Bella's life will be announced at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
