Mark Kevin Huff, 62, of Fair Grove, Missouri passed away on January 15, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 5, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas to Clifton O. Huff, Jr. and Freda (Cox) Huff. Mark graduated with the class of 1980 of Marshfield High School, Marshfield, Missouri. Like his father, Mark was a Master Electrician.
Mark took immense pride in the athletic pursuits of his two sons. When they were young children, he coached them and countless other young athletes and never tired from doing it. As they transitioned into school sports, there was rarely a game that he wasn't sitting in the stands offering unwavering support while cheering them and their teammates on.
Mark was an avid sportsman himself, loving both fishing and hunting. His dream was to one day have a bait shop in Wyoming, but he settled for land he loved in Colorado (which really wasn't settling since he was so happy when he was there). He also had his own little homestead in Fair Grove that he lovingly shared with his best buds, his dogs and chickens. At the age of seven, he became a Miami Dolphins fan in the middle of Cowboy country. He never gave up on them and loved attending games when he could when they played in Missouri.
Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clifton Orville Huff, Sr. and Bessie Mae Tate Huff; his maternal grandparents, Marion Calhoun Cox and Ida Louise (Chumley) Cox; his father, Clifton Orville Huff, Jr.; his stepfather, Marshel Ray Keith; and his brother-in-law, Jerry D. Hartman; and other loved ones including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mark is survived by his sons and their spouses, Micah and Emmalea Huff of Marshfield and Colter and Brianna Huff of Ozark; his grandchildren, Maleah Laine, Elanna Rose, and Elijah Nolan Huff of Marshfield and Olivia Lane and Poppy James Huff of Ozark; mother, Freda Cox Huff Keith of Willard; sister Karen Huff Hartman; sisters and their spouses, Cathy Huff Henry (Kenny) and Cindy Keith Oberlander (Chris); beloved nieces and nephews as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mark will be laid to rest in Marshfield, Missouri. There are no services planned at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
