Ethan Pope Obituary
Ethan passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Rusk County, Texas. He was born December 30, 2006, in Longview, Texas. Ethan has lived in Hideaway for the past 11 years and was previously of Carthage, Texas. He was a member of Hideaway Lake Community Church, graduated from Lindale High School in 2025 and was currently a student at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches. Ethan was both an art and music enthusiast, particularly classic rock music. He enjoyed playing his guitar and both playing and designing video games. He touched all that he met and was loved by all. Ethan was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Fiske.
Ethan is survived by his parents, Kevin and Janice Pope of Hideaway; brothers, Isaac, Andrew, and Caleb Pope of Hideaway; grandparents, Roy and Kathy Wood of Carthage and John and Joan Pope of Chandler; uncles and aunts, Patrick Pope of Tyler, Jennifer Fiske of Tyler, and Jason and Angel Wood of Flint; cousins, Eli Fiske, Brynlee Fiske, Luke Fiske, Ella Fiske, Oliver Wood, and Liam Wood, and numerous other loving family members and a countless number of friends.
