Ethel Stephenson Armstrong

Mrs. Ethel S. Armstong, age 82, of Richmond, departed this life on August 25, 2025. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Sonrita Armstrong Priest. She is survived by her husband, Lennox A. Armstong; three sons, Steven D. Armstrong (Paula), Stacy L. Armstong and Lennox A. Armstrong (Nicole); nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Queen S. Blowe; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; six sisters-in-law, Mabel Stephenson, Alice Gaskins (Daniel), Barbara Armstrong, Marva Harper (Tony), Glivian Lambright (Thomas) and Terri Stokes (Stan); five brothers-in-law Francis Armstrong (Deloria), Freddie Armstrong (Mae), William Armstrong (Irene), Stevie Armstrong and Joseph Armstrong (Sandra); other relatives and friends. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, 1:00pm, at Second Baptist Church,1400 Idlewood Avenue, where remains will lie in state, one hour prior to the funeral time. Dr. James Harris (Pastor) officiating. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church, at 12:45pm on Thursday.
