Ethel “Marie” Bashelor, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025 at the age of 90 at Autumn Lake @ Chesapeake Woods. She was surrounded by her loving family days preceding her passing.

She grew up in Silver Springs, met her husband, who was in the Navy and lived in California, Texas, New Jersey and Maryland. She worked in the healthcare field until her retirement from Eastern Shore Hospital Center and worked as a private duty sitter for years following. Throughout her life, Marie was a source of unwavering faith, love, kindness and spiritual guidance to her family, friends and to anyone who was blessed to have known her. She never let a day pass by without praising God with an Amen or a, Praise the Lord coming from her lips. She acknowledged and glorified GOD in all things and instilled that faith within her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
