My husband, Howard, was in the military with Dan at Franklin Lakes, N.J. in 1960. We became very good friends but lost touch over the years. Sadly, Howard passed away at the age of 30 but I have never forgotten the good times we had with Dan. Despite the circumstances, I am glad to hear he had a good life. Rest in peace, Dan.
