Ethel Lawson Games, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family.

A native of Moore County, Ethel was the daughter of the late Hobart and Effie Bullins Lawson. She loved to share laughter with her family and friends and found great enjoyment in crocheting and working puzzles. She also liked to fish and had a special love for her animals. Above all, her greatest joy was her family, whom she cherished deeply.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery 1000 Lobelia Road, Vass, NC 28394 with Pastor John Stinnett officiating.
