With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Ethel Marie Koranda Davis Jarousak, who left this world on May 1, 2025, just eighteen days before her 66th birthday.
Born on May 19, 1959, Ethel lived boldly and loved deeply. She was a woman of strength, wit, and unwavering devotion to her family - both by blood and by choice.
She is survived by her beloved brother, Henry Morris Koranda; her daughters, Robin Marie Jones and Kriston Michelle Lewis; her adored shared children Erica, Maria, Jose and Alfredo and her treasured bonus daughters, Connie Delinn and Samantha Marie - women she loved as her own.
Ethel's legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Tiana Eleanor Simone, Quentin William, Harmony Kriselle, Colton Gage, Remington, Rueger, Halie, Cameron, Charlie, Lydia, Rachel and Morgan. Each one carries a spark of her fiery spirit and gentle heart. She was further blessed with great-grandchildren: Elena, Liam, Apollymi, the ever-enigmatic Owen - whose "top secret" status always made her smile.
Ethel was a lover of life's little moments - an Elvis lifelong fan, a straight shooter, a fierce protector, and the kind of woman who could give comfort with a glance and courage with a word. She didn't just welcome people into her heart - she made a home there.
Though she has left our sight, her light shines on in the stories we share, the songs we turn up too loud, and the way we love one another - un apologetically and all in.
In lieu of flowers, Ethel would have wanted you to call someone you love, hold them close, and laugh until your sides hurt
