Ethel "Dolly French" Paulat

Ethel "Dolly" Paulat 79 of Ravenna passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at UH Portage Medical Center. She was born October 2, 1945 in New Kensington, PA to the late Edward and Helen (Buchanan) French. Dolly was a bus driver for Ravenna City Schools and worked as a Corrections Officer for the Portage County Sheriff Department. Survivors include her sons Donald Paulat and David Paulat, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and siblings Jean Nolte, Janice Manbeck, Linda Baun and Randy French. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at the Ravenna First Church of God, 237 New Milford Road in Ravenna from 4 to 6 PM on Sunday, October 12, 2025. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Portage County APL, PO Box 927, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
