Etta Lesshafft Obituary
Etta Mae was born in Louisville in 1922 to the late Fred and Carrie Summers. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. She worked for many years at Bacon's and later at Dillards. Etta Mae's greatest joy was being the loving wife of 72 years to George W. Lesshafft and being the loving mother to 4 daughters.
She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Dianne Lathery (Larry); grandson, Jeffrey King; parents; sisters, Dorothy Kronauer and Mallie Able; and brother, J.T. Summers.
Carrying on Etta Mae's legacy are her daughters, Joyce Sams, Carol Manley (Ray), and Linda Warren (Dave); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11AM – 1PM on Saturday, November 16 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Funeral will be at 1PM on Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at St. Edwards Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville.
