Etta Jean “Jeanne” Thompson, 60, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at her home.
Born in Easley, she was the daughter of Mary Ann Ledford and the late Donnie C. Ellison. Jeanne graduated from Wren High School in 1982 and went on to be a loving mother to her two boys, who were her pride and joy. Jeanne had a passion for music, holding a special place in her heart for Classic Rock. She delighted in singing and was an avid karaoke enthusiast, often bringing joy to others with her performances. Her warm personality and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through the cherished memories she created with her sons and the love she spread to those around her. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Chris Doré, of Hurley, Mississippi, and Bryan Doré, of Easley, South Carolina; her best-friend, Elaine Terry Kuck; two godchildren, Wilder and Ryot Kuck; and three fur babies, Bosco, Leyna, and Graham.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Willis “Whitey” L. Ledford.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. The family will greet friends following the service.
