She is survived by her children, Rosie (David) Penoli, Anna (Carlos) Carrillo and Joe Jr. (Sheena) Garza; her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Carlos Alberto Carrillo, Jr., Jessica, Sarah and David Penoli, and Abby (Juan) Leal and Emma Garza, brothers Silverio Peña, Joe (Celi) Peña and Jorge (Irma) Peña.
She is proceeded in death by her father and mother Silverio and Eufemia Peña, brother Jaime Peña and grandsons Isaac and Nicolas Penoli.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 10:00 am at St Paul Catholic Church in Mission with burial to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Penoli, Carlos Carrillo, Albert Carrillo, Dave Penoli, Juan Leal and Jaime Peña.
The family extends their gratitude to Mr. David Perez and staff at the Comfort House for all of their love and care. Their compassion and dedication brought peace and comfort to our family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Comfort House, 617 Dallas Ave, McAllen, TX 78501. Donations may be made via mail or on the website http://www.comforthousergv.com/
