Eugene Thomas Boring, 93, New Florence passed away March 11, 2026, at Beacon Ridge. Born July 28, 1932, in Seward the son of late James and Vinnie (Penrose) Boring. Also preceded in death by son Kenneth Duane Boring, sisters Emma Burkett, Dora Henderson, Janet Clawson, and Joan Payne, and brothers Robert Dean Boring and Samuel Boring.
Survived by wife of 75 years Doris Romayne (Betts) Boring, sons Eugene Thomas Boring, Jr., and wife Shelly, Black Lick; Daniel Boring and wife Debbie, Blairsville; and Edward Boring and wife Debbie, Blairsville; grandchildren Chad Boring, Jessica Ditson (Howard), Nathaniel Brockman (Laurell), Kerri Simmons (Joel Brightbill), Bethany Boring (Felicia Antonio), Daniel Boring, Jr., (Whitney Ritenour), and Christopher Boring, 8 great grandchildren, brother Harry Boring, New Florence. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Eugene was a long-time board member of Germany Lutheran Cemetery, retired employee of Conemaugh and Black Lick Railroad, former employee of West Wheatfield Township, and member of Little Church on the Hill (Germany Methodist), New Florence.
Friends received 2-4 PM and 6-8PM Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 AM Monday. Pastor Tina Barkley officiating. Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery
