EUGENE W. BOTTORFF, 93
US Air Force Korean War Veteran
Age 93, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, with his daughter by his side. Born in Chicago, raised in Lemont, and a longtime resident of Lockport. He worked at Corn Products Refining in Argo for over 25 years. Eugene was a massive Cubs fan. He loved to work on models, especially military themed and also enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Most of all, he loved spending time with the family and especially the grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise Bottorff; two beloved children, Debra Carroll, and Charles Eugene Bottorff; his parents, Charles and Estelle Bottorff; one sister, Dolores Sorg.
Survived by his devoted daughter, Sandy (Jim) Ferry of Joliet; three adored grandsons, Eric (Mary) Ferry, Adam (Robin) Ferry, and Jason (Christine) Bottorff; four cherished great grandchildren, Krista and Aidan Ferry, and Preston and Kameron Ferry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 10:00am until time of Service at 11:00am with Deacon Kevin Ryan Officiating.
