Eugene Cannon was born to the late Willie D. Cannon and Lou Dora Cannon on July 20, 1954 in Nashville, Tn. He departed his life on December 27, 2025.
He graduated from Hillsboro High School; He pursued his education at Nashville State Community College followed by Tennessee State University.
He had found joy in fishing trips, maintained a lifelong curiosity for technology and enjoyed attending hockey games and watching sports.
He was preceded in death by his sister Annie M. McAdoo, brother Thomas A. Cannon and nephew Victor Cannon.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters Nannie Lou (James) Gilbert and India (Chris) Cannon-Harkless; nephews, Weldon (Dedria) Cannon, Nathan (Regina) Gilbert, James Gilbert Jr., Thomas Cannon Jr., Vanoy (Kim) Cannon and Dr. Riccardo (Lanae) Cannon; nieces, Sharon McAdoo, Crystal Gilbert and Dr. Kahala Cannon and a host of great nephews, great nieces and cousins.
