Eugene H. DuChateau, 70, Pulaski, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025 after complications with pneumonia. He was born on January, 16th, 1955 in Green Bay to the late Ralph and Cecelia (VandenLangenberg) DuChateau. Eugene graduated from West High School. He was employed at his father’s shop, DuChateau Shoe Repair, as a cobbler for over 20 years and then with Performance Insulation as a Mechanical Insulator for 30 years. He spent his life in the Pulaski/Green Bay area when not traveling for work. Eugene was very active and loved his family, fishing, and outdoors. 

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Patty; sons, Patrick (Tara) DuChateau and Brian (Ann) DuChateau; step-daughter Erin Urben; step-sons Sam Komro and Travis Plog; and sister, Gail (Doug) Delebreau. Further survived by grandchildren Brett, Hailey, and Emily; nephew Ryan; nieces Cassie, Kristie, Stacey, and Kelley; great nephews Conrad and Arlo; great niece Noelle; best friend and work partner Greg Urcavich; and so many other relatives and friends. 

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary; sister, Susie; grandparents, Ben and Lucy DuChateau and Hub and Alma VandenLangenberg; Godmother, Gen VandenLangenberg; and Godfather, Hub VandenLangenberg. 

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date for immediate family and close friends.
