I lost a truly dear friend of 53 yrs. Eugene and I grew up in New York City in Brooklyn Bed-Stuy Halsey St and I lived on Macon St. Eugene had countless amounts of friends in Brooklyn. I knew his late mom and sisters and brother Harold. There were things in Brooklyn we done having fun as teens today's children couldn't imagine there wasn't cell phones and today's electronic. We ran and play in the streets, played tag, scallie in the streets, enjoyed the summer days just as kids enjoying life. Eugene will be missed by his New York family in which we loved him as a brother.
