With profound sadness, we share the passing of Eugene "Gene" Fadrigon III on March 11,
2025. Gene was a beloved husband, devoted father, caring son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Kim; his two wonderful daughters, Emily and Madeline, whom
he was so very proud of-being a dad was the greatest joy of his life. He is also survived by his
parents, Betty and Gene Fadrigon Jr; his sisters, Jodi Fadrigon (partner, Tom Liccardi) and Julie
Looser (husband, Jordy); his in-laws, Burleigh and Deb Loveitt; and his brothers-in-law, Justin
Loveitt (wife, Caitlin) and Jon Loveitt (partner, Casey). Gene was a proud and loving uncle to his
nieces and nephews- Tyler, Charley, Brayden, Julia and Lisa-as well as extended family
members who adored him.
Gene was predeceased by his grandmothers, Beatrice McCarthy and Beatrice Fadrigon, both of
whom held a special place in his heart.
Gene had a deep love for the outdoors, and nothing brought him more joy than being outside
with the people he loved. Whether it was fishing, hunting, or just being near the water, he found
peace in nature. He spent countless hours with family and close friends on Sebago Lake, at the
family's hunting camp in Myra, Maine, and on Cranberry Island.
Gene will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty to friends, pride for his family, quick wit,
and his ability to bring friends together. He built a large professional network and enjoyed time
with his colleagues. He had a way of captivating a room, and his presence was one that could
never be replaced. Above all, Gene's greatest legacy is the love he had for his family, the
friendships he built, and the countless memories shared with those lucky enough to know him.
In honoring Gene's life, we also acknowledge the importance of mental health awareness and
support. If you or someone you know is struggling, please know that help is available, and you
are not alone.
A service to celebrate Gene's life will be held on Friday, March 21 at 11:00 at the First Parish
Congregational Church, 2 Church Street, Gorham. A gathering to follow will be held at Junction
Bowl, 7 Railroad Ave, Gorham, from 12:00-4:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations
be made to The Center for Grieving Children in his memory at https://www.cgcmaine.org/donate/

So incredibly sorry...I have many fond memories of Gene, his larger than life personality, and even enjoyed not just a few beverages and laughs with him over the years. My deepest heartfelt condolences to Kim, his girls, and Gene's extended family.
