Eugene P. "Geno" Farrell

Eugene "Geno" P. Farrell, 76, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 13, 1949, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Mildred M. and Franklin B. Farrell. Geno graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1967 and soon after proudly joined the United States Navy. Following his honorable discharge, he continued his lifelong commitment to service as a member of the Lower Paxton Township Police Department, where he served faithfully from 1973 until his retirement in 2004. During that time, he also worked as a security guard at the Colonial Park Mall, where his friendly and dependable nature was well known to many. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA, 17109. A visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., followed by a memorial service beginning at 12:00 P.M. A committal service with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the service.
