Mr. Eugene Talmadge Grimaud

Jackson, SC-- Mr. Eugene Talmadge Grimaud, age 82, entered into rest at his home on April 3, 2025. He was born in Augusta, GA to the late Mr. John Beauregard Grimaud and the late Mrs. Grace Belle Carpenter, and was the loving husband to his late wife Mrs. Mary Hoyer Grimaud. He was also preceded in death by his brother, John Beauford Grimaud.

Eugene, a retired carpenter, was a lifelong resident of the CSRA. He enjoyed watching golf and stock car racing, listening to oldies and country music, and researching Christian theology. Eugene was a friend to all animals, and adored his many pets throughout his lifetime.

Mr. Grimaud will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: one daughter Cynthia (Roger) Kort, Richardson, TX; one brother Robert (Ann) Grimaud, Evans, GA; and two grandchildren Alexander Kort and Christopher Kort. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Westover Memorial Park Augusta, GA on April 14th at 10 a.m. with Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials and donations be made to Friends of the Animal Shelter in Aiken, SC at www.fotas.org.
