Edward J. Haraczkiewicz, 70, of Jefferson Twp., formerly of Connecticut, died Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Geisinger Community Medical Center. His wife of 21 years is the former Margaret DePaulo. Born in the Bronx, he was a son of the late SGT. Jozef and Salomea Haraczkiewicz. He was a member of St. Thomas More and St. Mary's Parish in Lake Ariel.

Prior to retirement, Ed was a Senior Business Analyst at Pfizer, combining scientific expertise with analytical business skills. Having published predoctoral work at St. Luke's Hospital in New York he contributed to technical and analytical projects with long-term impact, authoring or co-authoring numerous studies. Since his first job as a sweeper at Yankee Stadium, he was a devout fan of New York sports teams, especially the Yankees and Giants. Most of all, Ed was a people person, and enjoyed the company of others. For Ed, every friend was his best friend and as close as family. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
