My dear friend , , , from our work days/years at SCSSW and just keeping in touch.
While looking for an update of an old school friend (at Hamp High), I happened upon this notice about your dear husband, Gene's passing. Please know that although we are miles apart, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I was honored, my dear, to have been in your wedding party when the two of you married in 1981 -- gosh, it seems like only yesterday. But I do know the two of you truly enjoyed your comfortable home, pets and the many, many wonderful travels through the years. Oh, so many fond memories for you to hold in your heart -- always!
May you be comforted now knowing that Gene's loving arms will be around you always.
God bless you, my dear friend . . . love, joyce

Dear Friend - Bobbie
Hearing of Gene´s passing was very sad to Cecil and I. We express our sincere condolences to you, our dear friend. Gene was a really pleasant and jovial individual who we were lucky to have had the opportunity to know for 13 years and we will always remember all the funny stories he told us when we meet on our vacations. Even though he is gone, we can still hear him say when we go on vacation "SALUTE". May his memories and all the wonderful times you both spent together give you peace and comfort and may his soul rest in peace. Bobbie, Cecil and I will continue to keep in touch with you.
With caring thoughts, prayers and love.
