Our deepest condolences from the whole Bunkenburg family to the whole Kummerer family for the loss of Gino. The community has lost a very good soul. Those of us who knew him from his childhood feel a sense of loss and unbelievability in his death. He was an intelligent, caring and giving person. Rest in Peace Gino you have touched many lives!

My brother Deacon Gene always wore a smile and had a cheerful disposition. The psalmists prayer was his own prayer- "You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever." I am so sorry to hear this! I pray for strength for his family & friends. Gene & I attended St. Pascals school together many years ago, my mother volunteered with him for St. Vincent De Paul. Gene was kind enough to attend my mom's wake last June and lead some prayers. My family appreciated his compassion.

Words cannot express the loss felt by St Pascal, all the Vincentians, and, above all, Marge, Gene, and the entire Kummerer family! I will always remember Gene's kindness and respect for my husband, Deacon Frank. Gene was a special person, and he has a special place in heaven.
