Eugene George Lipnicky, age 86, passed away May 21, 2025, in Irving, Texas. Eugene was born on February 5, 1939, to Cecelia (Puc) and Andrew Lipnicky in Munhall, Pennsylvania.
Eugene worked for several years as an engineer for Ling Tempco Vought in Grand Prairie, Texas, and was an air pollution control engineer for the city until he retired. He enjoyed constructing model railroads, boats, and airplanes in his free time. Soccer was additionally a major passion of his, which he shared with those he coached.
His family was of utmost importance to him, and enjoying time together on the beach in Maryland was among some of his favorite memories.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rita Jean Lipnicky; son, Eric Glen Lipnicky; son, David Scott Lipnicky; and daughter, Lisa Marie Tims. He is predeceased by his parents, Cecelia and Andrew Lipnicky. A memorial service will be held at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church on June 24, 2025 at 10 AM. 2323 Cheyenne Street, Irving, Texas 75062.
