Eugene Manik Obituary

Eugene F. Manik, 77, of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 10, 2025. He was born in Braddock on July 26, 1947, a son of the late Cyril and Dorothy Hill Manik. Eugene was a devout Catholic and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a parcel courier for Federal Express. In his free time, Eugene was a model train enthusiast, and he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Eugene is survived by his beloved wife, Bernadine Manik; two daughters, Eugenia Biddle (husband, Clayton) and Jennifer Wright (husband, David); one brother, Cyril Manik (wife, Barbara); grandchildren, Courtnee Biddle (husband, Joshua Nurse), Alyson Biddle, Jacob Wright, and Patrick Wright; and great-grandchildren, Elowyn and Rosalind. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m., on Sunday, at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m., on Monday, at Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin, with interment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Eugene's name to Cornerstone Television or Immaculate Conception Church. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
