On November 6, 2024, Eugene Michael Nuth, Sr. "Gene", 82, of Glen Arm, MD, passed away. Gene was the loving husband of Carolyn Joan Nuth (nee Szymanski); devoted father of Kimberly M. Bell and her husband Dave, Lisa M. Ward and her husband Brian and the late E. Michael Nuth; cherished grandfather of David Bell, III, Dakota Komastakes, and Brian Ward; dear brother of Robert H. Nuth and his wife Betty.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Gene's life at the Evans Life Celebration Home, 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, MD on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 11:00 A.M at St. Ursula's Catholic Church. Interment Private.
If desired, contributions may be made to the Calvert Hall Scholarship Fund, 8102 LaSalle Road, Baltimore, MD 21286.

I first met Gene in 1969 while working in criminal justice and stayed close as co-workers and friends for many years. While time and life's events resulted in our drifting apart, I never forgot his unique sense of humor, quirky ideas and caring nature. I will always remember him as "one of the good guts".
