On September 15, 2024, our Heavenly Father called our Dad, Eugene Petrey, home. Dad was born November 4, 1929 in Williamsburg, Kentucky. He is predeceased by his parents, McKinley and Nannie Petrey and 10 siblings. He worked as a coal miner, in Eastern Kentucky; at Phillip Carey’s in the factory; as a truck driver with Celotex and finally delivering vehicles for Toyota dealerships. Dad was quite a dapper dresser; always in a coat and tie and never without his hat. We always teased that he must have ants in his pants because he was always on the go. He leaves behind his brother, Royal, his significant other, Pat Russell, his daughters, Donna Black (Ken); Cathy Padgett; Pam Mason (Darrell Ramsey); ); his sons, Rod Cramer (Janice); David Petrey (Jackie); Robert Petrey; many grandchildren and many great children. His absence is going to leave a big hole in our lives.
