Eugene Samples Obituary
Born in Louisville, he was self employed and owned his lawncare service.
He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Lee Samples; niece, Gabriel Samples.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Snider; step-mother, Francis M. Samples; friend, Nikki Dennis; siblings, Patty Bell (James), Janet Wright (Donny), Juanita Samples, Dorothy Tolliver, Allen Samples Jr. (Beth), Johnny Samples (Tina), Michelle Lewis (Jamie), and Melissa Miller (Jason); nieces, Crystal (Larry), Stephanie, Alivia, Leah, and Ilana; nephews, Rodger (Tiffany), Jordan, Robert, Jesse, Charlie, and William.
His memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Memorial visitation will be from 12 p.m. until time-of-service Monday at Owen Funeral Home.

Gene you was a uncle to me and Chris and we miss you so much I remember all the laughs we had and I remember how we all used to sit around and have those talks I wish I could hear your voice one last time even though our last words were I LOVE YOU BE SAFE SEE YOU TOMORROW MORNING I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR GONE ???! I MISS YOU UNCLE GENE SO MUCH IT'S HURTING MY HEART
