Eugene Sember

Eugene (Gene) Sember, 92, of Scottdale, passed away March 8, 2024, at Mountain View Senior Living., Greensburg. Born October 29, 1931, in Vanderbilt, Eugene was a son of the late Peter and Anna (Zeka) Sember. Eugene served his country in the U.S. Army, seeing combat in the Korean War. He received the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Korean Service Medal. Eugene enjoyed traveling with his wife, of 46 years, Elizabeth Sember (Shoemaker), who preceded Eugene in death, May 2022. In addition, Eugene was proceeded in death by all 10 of his brothers and sisters. Memories of their Uncle Gene will be cherished by his nephews and nieces. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 15, 2024 at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICEs, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of his funeral service with Rev.
