Eugene Robert Slebodnick

Eugene R. Slebodnick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the age of 84. Gene was born in Hazelton, PA to the late Joseph and Lillian Slebodnick. He was a U.S. Airforce veteran who know every kind of plane or jet that was ever made.
Gene was a history buff who loved watching classic movies and old westerns on television. He was a fan of the Brooklyn Dodger and the Baltimore Colts, when Johnny Unitas was their quarterback. In recent years, he became a Phillies and Eagles fan while watching them both make runs at the championships. John Wayne and Gary Cooper were his favorite movie stars. He loved listening to Elvis and the music of the forties and fifties.
Gene was a Morrisville, PA resident for the past 59 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gene is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elaine. His brother William (Jean) and sister Andrea Hildebrandt. His children, Wayne, Sherry, Misti (Lester) and Glenn. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Slebodnick will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on February 28, 2023 at 1:30 PM.
