Eugene Wallace

Eugene Wallace, 87, of St Cloud passed away on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025. Mr. Wallace was a real Florida native, born and raised in Ocala, doing most of his life's work within the state. He retired from his beloved Wallace Construction Company as CEO and road construction specialist, as well as a Veteran of the United States Army. Outside of his dedication to work, he loved spending his time with his family; whether it be hunting and fishing or traveling to a new vacation spot, he secretly doted on how much he enjoyed going out.

Predeceased by Carrie Wallace (mother), Jacob Crowe Wallace (father), Alfred Oliver Wallace Sr (brother), Lillian Counts (sister), Iva Jane Mullohan (sister), Betty Brown (sister), and Annabelle Meadows (sister).

Survivors include his wife, Cyndi Wallace; his sons, Davey Wallace and Taylor Wallace; his daughters, Carrinette Wallace, Michelle Artrip, and Kristina Wallace; his grandchildren, Sarah Artrip, Justin Artrip, Jesse Artrip, and Bree Wallace; his brother, Junior Wallace; and his granddogs, Olivia, Bailey, and Ace.

The funeral service will be held on November 22nd, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services. The viewing will take place from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services.
