Lima, Ohio

Eugene "Frank" F. Williams, Jr., age 80, peacefully fell to sleep in death in the early morning hours of March 1, 2026, at the home of his family in Lima, Ohio, after battling many health issues over a lengthy period of time.

He was born on February 8, 1946, and was raised in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was the oldest child of Eugene Franklin Williams, Sr. and Evelyn Lucille (Harper) Williams Finch, who both preceded him in death.

He was united in marriage to the late Corrine (Johnson) Williams and the late Mary Sanders Williams. He was also preceded in death by his only brother, Steven Ray Williams, who passed away at the young age of nineteen; his paternal grandparents, Donald (Eva) Williams; and his maternal grandparents, Charles Ray Harper and Sarah Marguarite Harper Hackley.

He is survived by his daughter, Felicia (Wes) Williams Singleton of Toledo, Ohio; his only surviving sibling and longtime caregiver, Marcella (Eddie) McIntyre of Lima, Ohio; his step-sister, Sondra (Joe) Finch of Mansfield, Ohio; his step-son, Devonne Lattimore and family of Ewing, Pennsylvania; and his step-daughter, Bobbie (Frederick) Thomas of Charlotte, North Carolina; nephews, Jason (Amanda) Warner of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Kevin (Salicia) Moore of Lima, Ohio.

"Frank" will also be lovingly remembered by many other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.

He was employed by and retired from DANA (DAB) Corporation in Bellefontaine, Ohio, in 2001 after thirty years of service. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Although he will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him, we are at peace knowing that he is no longer in pain and is now at peace.

The family of Frank would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those involved in his overall care and treatment.

A graveside service will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428 with Pastor Levi Collins officiating.
