Lady Eula Mae LeDay Cullivan "Aunt Nan", 82, was born on May 28, 1942 in Ville Platte, La. to the late Gilbert LeDay and Ida Fontenot. She departed this life after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Morell LaFleur. She united in marriage to the Late Pastor Arthur Lee Cullivan on August 27, 1959, and to this union, five children were born. They lived most of their married life in Lake Charles, La. where she was a homemaker and devoted member of Cathedral of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Lady Cullivan served under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Hearnest Arvie, the late Pastor Arthur Cullivan and current leadership of Pastor Kenneth W. Smith, Sr.Lady Cullivan served as a member of the Interdenominational Minister's Wives & Widows Fellowship, Deaconess Ministry, and Mission Ministry.
She also attended Sunday school and was a faithful Praise Cheerleader for Christ.
Lady Cullivan was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was loved by so many and never met a stranger. If you ever got to know her, the first words you would hear from her were "I love you"
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters: Susan (Daryl) Washington and Pamela (Clark) Bernard; two sons: David (Tanya) Cullivan and Lee Arthur (Stacy) Cullivan; two godchildren: Deshia Senegal and Master Sgt. Chefon "Drez" Clark; six sisters: Mildred (Gilbert) Clark, Maudry Porter, Nella Louise (Alvin) Alfred, Jr., Delores Tezeno, Sandra (Terron) LeDay, and Valarie (Gary) Larvadain; six brothers: Dalvin (Alice) Tezeno, Hershel LeDay, Phillip (Lisa) LeDay, Dalbert (Joyce) LeDay, Lee Eric (Ethel) LeDay, and Ruschel (Lisa) LeDay; Precious In-laws: Rev. J.T. Collins, Wilda Campbell, Calton (Mary) Frank, Milton (Carrielee) Frank, Davis (Marsha) Green and Johnny (Dolores) Green; Special Sister/Cousins: Hazel Moore and "The Its"; nine grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years; her parents; one son: Darrell Lee Cullivan; two grandsons: Hilton Freeman, Jr. and Logan Cullivan; seven sisters: Stella Freeman, Essie Mae LeDay, Louanna Ben, Elsie Williams, Dora Tezeno, Carrie Dixon and Priscilla LeDay; and two brothers: Milton LeDay and Donald LeDay.
