Eulalie J. Hearn

A LIFE WELL LIVED
Eulalie J Hearn a cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother, entered into eternal rest peacefully in her sleep on January 8, 2026, at the age of 89 in California.
Eulalie was born January 19, 1936, in the Pomeroon, Essequibo River, Guyana South America, to Josiah and Mary Baird. She was the eldest of six children. They were Gloria Gamel (deceased), from Guyana, Madeline Gonsalves (deceased),from Guyana, Theresa Mc Donald(deceased) from Canada, Leo Baird from Australia, Joan from Guyana and her adopted sister Jane Edghill.
She attended the school of business in culinary arts at Carnegie school in Georgetown, Guyana.
Later met the love of her life and married Vincent Russell. They became business parters and managed multiple businesses, such as Russell's Restaurants and Luncheonettes, snack bars at Fogarity, Bettencourts, Bookers and Guyana Telecummications. Along with Mancells Bakery on Broad and Saffon Street, in Georgetown.
They had the two largest contracts from the Government facilitating bread to the Guyana Defence Force and Police.
The children are Marlyn Yhun, husband Gregory, Malcom Russell, wife Donna (deceased), Daphne Thorpe, husband Paul, Susan Persaud, husband Krishna, Brian Russell, Peggy Elias, husband Raymond, and Terrence Russell.
Eulalie migrated to the USA in 1979 and later met and married John Hearn, who has two daughters Lisa and Dawn. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 plus years.
Her home was a place of warmth, wisdom and open arms. She was the happiest surrounded by her family and loved to cook for her grandchildren. Their favorite dish was homemade spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. Also, she loved music and was fond of playing her organ to entertain her guests. Her hobby was traveling and playing Bingo.
Grandchildren: Aundrey, (deceased), Robin, Premika (deceased), Keeran, Quacy, Mark, Jennifer, Brittany, Terrence Jr, Shawn, Bruce, Devon(deceased),Samantha,Justin,Simone, kayonne, Shaquille, Theresa, Raheem, Tareke, Terrife, Tynil and Christian. And a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless dear friends.
Eulalie will be greatly missed; may she rest in peace.
