Frank A. Santangelo Jr.

Frank A. Santangelo Jr. of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 19th at the age of 72. He was born on December 25, 1953 to Frank Sr. and Elizabeth Santangelo in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from Cooper Union, he spent his entire career with Army Corp of Engineers working as a civil engineer. He married Ruthann Roccanova in a small intimate wedding in 1982. Whether hiking wooded trails, stirring a pot of sauce at the Knights of Columbus, guiding his children through home projects, or playing with his grandchildren, Frank found his greatest joy in simply being present with those he loved. He was known for always willing to help others in need. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Ruthann; his children, Emily (Chris), Frank III (Nicole), and Julia (Jhan); his cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler, Sienna, Mason, Kaileb, and Enzo; and his sister Carol (David); and 11 nieces and nephews. Frank's life was a gift to all who knew him and his memory will be treasured always.
