Deacon Eulysee Tyndall humbly graced this earth on December 3, 1932, in Lumberton, North Carolina, born to the late John and Martha Tyndall. He fully surrendered to God's will and departed this earthly life on September 18, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

Deacon Tyndall was a devoted husband to his wife Verondia R. Tyndall for 36 years.

A father whose faith guided every aspect of his life as he believed in the power of prayer and a steady trust in God's plan. Deacon Tyndall's faith extended beyond his family. He was a dedicated, life-long member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a deacon for over 30 years. He approached this calling with humility, wisdom, and a servant's heart- visiting the sick, comforting the grieving, and encouraging those in need. His presence in the church was one of calm leadership and true spiritual care. He also sang in the choir and served on the Usher board.

Deacon Tyndall was a class of 1950 graduate of Redstone Academy. He worked with Waccamaw Bank for many years. He was a former deputy sheriff and jailer of the Robeson County Sheriff's Department and retired in 1993. He served on the advisory board of Robeson Technical Institute. He also served in the US Army and was a Korean War Veteran.
