Eunice Dorothy Eckert

Eunice D. Eckert, 85, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the Lantern of Saybrook. She was born January 14, 1939, in Nantucket, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Stanley and Marion (Hammond) Roop. Eunice worked for many years as a phone solicitor. She was a Buddhist by faith, and she enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She is survived by her daughters, Denise Rogers and Jeanne (Joe) Quinn; grandchildren, Bradley Rogers, Kelly Masters, Brian Masters, and Dr. Danielle Clark; as well as four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; granddaughter, Misty Parsons; and her parents. In following her wishes she will be cremated, and no services will be held.
