WEST BOYLSTON-Eunice C. (Johnson) Tuure, 90, of West Boylston passed away Sunday, January 1 in the Beaumont Nursing Center.
Her husband of 52 years, Raymond J. Tuure died in 2008. She leaves her god-daughter, Heidi C. Luopa of Worcester and many dear friends including, Wendy MacLeod and her husband, Shawn and her daughter, Kaitlyn of Rutland. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Edward and Anna (Johnson) Johnson and graduated from Commerce High School.
Eunice was a secretary at Norton Company for many years, before retiring. She was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church and the West Boylston Senior Citizens. Eunice and her husband enjoyed traveling the world with their church group and Norton Company group and spending time at Hampton Beach. She had a deep love for all animals, crafts and swimming.
A Visiting Hour will be held on Thursday, January 5th from 10 to 11AM in Christ Lutheran Church, 112 Crescent Street, West Boylston follow by a Funeral Service at 11AM in the church. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church or to NEADS, P.O. Box 1100, Princeton, MA 01541. Arrangements in the care of FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street.
