He is survived by his wife of 68 years: Virginia Graves, Franklin, KY;
1 son: David Graves and wife, Brenda, Franklin, KY;
1 brother: Kelly Graves and wife, Hattie, Franklin, KY;
2 sisters: Teresa Calvert, Gallatin, TN and Sherry Wimpee and husband, Larry, Scottsville, KY;
4 grandchildren: Chris Graves, Wes Graves (Tori), Channen Graves (Stacy) and Jordan Graves (Nicole);
10 great grandchildren: Caiden, Kabrie, Kennedy, Cam, Beckham, Mack, Drake, AnnaJo, Emma Kate and Denver.
He was preceded in death by a son: Donnie Graves.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Beech Grove General Baptist Church with Bro. Ryan Whiticker and Bro. Gary Pardue officiating and burial in Beech Grove Cemetery with Bro. Danny Howell officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home and after 9:00 am Thursday until funeral time at Beech Grove General Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Beech Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
