Eva Bowen Obituary
Eva married Orvind "Clay" Bowen in Bentonville, Arkansas, on October 29, 1956. She was a dedicated homemaker with a love for gardening, canning vegetables, quilting, sewing, reading, and playing bingo.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Orvind "Clay" Bowen; her parents, Clyde and Lillie Fanning; three sisters, Barbara Sue Carpenter, Jessie Holman, and Iva Patrick; and three brothers, Charles Fanning, Harvey Fanning, and Paul Eugene "Pete" Fanning.
She is survived by one sister, Edna Slover (Richard) of Estill Springs, Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM, with Terry Easterling officiating. Pallbearers will be Rick Windham, Randy Windham, Stacy Fanning, Brian Fanning, Paul Tottie, and Glenn West. Interment will immediately follow services at Kingston Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
