Eva Brady Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Loflin Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Apr. 13, 2025.
Eva Marie Williams Brady, 84, of Asheboro, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 surrounded by her family at Universal Health Care/Ramseur Rehab & Healthcare in Ramseur.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Bennett, with Mr. Ronnie McNeil officiating. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary prior to the service from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM, and other times at the home of Greg and Tanya Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Eva was born in Staley, NC on May 20, 1940 to the late Clarence Eli and Lula Wright Williams and was a 1958 graduate of Staley High School. She worked at GE Black & Decker for many years and retired from Klaussner Furniture. Eva was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Bennett.
Eva had a generous heart and gave much of her time to helping care for those she loved. Her greatest joy and love language were baking and cooking for her friends and family. She had many special recipes including her Blackberry Wine Cake. She enjoyed working in her yard and flowerbeds, but the thing that made her the happiest was being with her "grand boys". In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Herman Raeford Brady as well as her siblings, Wade Hampton Williams, Clarence Wesley Williams, Paul Ray Williams, Mary Louise Wright, Eula Lee Hicks and Lucy Mae Williams Moore.
Survivors: daughters, Tanya Brady Smith and husband, Greg, of Staley, Towa Brady Teague and husband, Scott, of Snow Camp, grandchildren, Logan Smith (Laura), of Albertson, Lucas Smith, of Staley, Bennett and Owen Teague, both of Snow Camp, great-grandchild, Lainey Rae Smith, of Albertson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
