Eva "Evie" DiLorenzo

Eva "Evie" DiLorenzo, 85, of Johnston, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday May 7th. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony DiLorenzo.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Alma (Scuncio) DeLicio.
Evie was the heart and soul of her family, her judgement free love was fierce and constant, making the world feel safer, softer, and more beautiful to those who loved her. She lived to cook and spend time with her family creating memories that will be forever cherished. She would light up every room she walked into whether it was her personality or her makeup. She was the queen of the family. She will be remembered for her devotion to her grandchildren, she supported them in all they did, especially their sporting events, She never missed a game. She was also very devoted to her daughter and cherished the time the two of them spent together.
She is survived by three children, Melissa St. Angelo and her husband Gerald of Johnston, Gary DiLorenzo of Johnston, and Anthony DiLorenzo and his wife Chris of Gloucester; six grandchildren, Toni-Marie Achilli and her husband Jason, Gerald St. Angleo, Jr., Victoria St. Angelo, Katerina St. Angelo, Marissa Falco, Kayla DiLorenzo; four great-grandchildren, Anthony, Lucia, and Christian Achilli, and Bradley Falco; sister, Alma (DeLicio) Nicotero; and a nephew Nicky Nicotero.
Her funeral will be from the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, at 10 am Tuesday May 13th, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are Monday, 4:00-7:00 pm.
