Eva Gamble, daughter of the late Reuben Gamble and Alice (McKenzie) Gamble was born on June 17, 1937, in Florence County, South Carolina. She attended the Glendale School in South Carolina. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal savior.
In I 964 Eva relocated to Paterson, New Jersey. After relocation she became a member of Unity Missionary Church in Paterson, New Jersey. Later she became a member of the Christian Fellowship Center and Outreach Ministries Paterson.
Our mother will be remembered as a loving mother who was always there for her children, grandchildren, and their grandchildren. She was a beautiful woman who was a woman of integrity, she was also a giver who enjoyed cooking for her family members and friends. She was full of laughter, and she also loved the Lord, the word of God and people. We will also remember two of her favorite sayings " You have got to be kidding" and "You better not lose that good job".
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; Sank Buster Singletary, daughter; Christine, granddaughter; Jenna, and grandson; Danny Jr., brothers; Matthew, Sr., Raymond Sr., and Phillip Gamble, sisters; Vera McCutcheon, Mary Cooper and Bernice Singletary.
Those left to cherish loving memories are her loving daughters; Thelma Singletary Oliver, Geneva Singletary, sons; Buster Singletary (Debbie), Danny Singletary and godson Fred McCutcheon, sisters; Drucilla Brown and Ruby Edwards, twelve grandchildren; Joann, Jamal, Tonya, Terri, Shani, Amy, Kim, Shantae, Faith, William, Gregory (Mio), Melissa, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors; special friend; Jeremiah Fisher, friends who became family at the Christian Fellowship Church, she loved and cherished her family members and her friends at Golden Hearts.
